Book of the week: A meal is a meal
Author: Nnamdi Anyadu
Description: Dark food stories that drag human nature.

Love portion

How far would you go to close the gap between what is and what could be?

What is: A waiter’s star struck love with unnoticed efforts. An unknowing girl that visits the lounge’s bar for a book club meetings.

What could be: A perfect couple with smiling faces. Togetherness against what the world thinks love should be, transcending class and what not. A happily ever after.

How to close the gap: Try more lukewarm efforts to get attention and when it doesn’t work you move straight to business of babalawo and portions.
What more could you have done? She obviously came to your dreams so all that special telepathy and subconscious connection was for what???

One cannot make an omelette without breaking a few eggs

Giving it 3/5 cause I was pissed 🙁🙁🙁
No effort at all just straight up delulu and babalawo

What do you think you can do that’d be seen as effort towards a love interest?

This story line sounds similar to a movie seen recently titled Obsession😂
