Have you ever DNF’d a book?
DNF = Did Not Finish.
The guilt is real though 😂
Like... are we allowed to DNF?
Or do we owe the author the finish?
people DNF books for some reasons
1. Too slow - 100 pages and nothing is happening
2. Wrong time - Life + book mood didn’t match
3. Too triggering/Heavy - Emotions were a lot
Have you ever DNF’d a book?
Drop the title + the reason.

@thebookpolitics 😂😂 I think we're allowed to DNF respectfully. Sometimes it's the book, sometimes it's us, and sometimes the timing is just completely wrong. 😭
It reminds me of what my mum used to say in Yoruba: “Ẹbí ń pa mí, olóòsé kì í rí.” 😂
Meaning, “I'm hungry, yet the soap seller is the one passing by.” 😭😂
Sometimes, it's not that the book isn't good, it just isn't what you need at that particular moment!
