A Nigerian woman goes to America, becomes black, becomes a writer, loses and finds love, and figures out where "home" actually is.
Theme: Race/identity, Home and belonging, Immigration experience, love and timing.

• if “black” means something different In Nigeria than it does in America, who decides who you are?
• What does it cost to leave home chasing a better life, and what does it cost to come back?
• How much of love is about the right person, and how much is about the right time and place?
